   In a region that water is much more than land; people don’t use cars or motorcycles much. Instead, they use boats. Interestingly, they also do daily trading on boats. Absolutely no ground or any forms of man-made structures involve! Cai Be Floating Market is typical. It is located on the river that draws borders between three provinces Tien Giang, Vinh Long and Ben Tre. Every day more than 400 boats filled almost everything gathers here. How would you know which boat carries what commodities? Take this tour and you’ll see one of the most interesting, exotic events in Indochina. Here’s our carefully designed schedule for your optimal enjoyment:

• 07:30 am This morning we will start Mekong Delta Tours 2 Days 1 Night to compare among how Cai Be and Cai Rang floating market is. On our dedicated bus/car you can see the green paddy fields extending towards the horizontal.

• 10.30 am: When you arrive in Cai Be, you’ll board a motorized boat that takes you to the floating market which is one of the biggest and famous floating markets in Mekong Delta. Furthermore, you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and experience the daily life of rural people.

• Next, we walk to visit a coconut candy, a crispy rice cake factory (served free with premium hot tea) and you might buy coconut candy and hand-made items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta for a souvenir.

• When you feel it's enough for the serenity, let's get back to the large motor boat for enjoying something different in An Binh Island (or Tan Phong Island). It is famous for fresh fruits for the whole year. On the way, we have an excellent opportunity to look at the sightseeing along 2 long sides' river and find out the life of rural people in Mekong Delta.

• The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Let's go to the local people's house for that (in the seasonable fruits garden).

• After lunch, we are divided into many groups and get on small rowboats. During this 20 minutes trip, your boat will zigzag through a maze of shadow canals to enjoy the fresh air along the canal and wonderful water coconut tree scenery.

• The next we travel to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

For Vietnamese lunar new year, Floating market is not running. We will change the floating market to making “Banh Tet” called cylindrical glutinous rice cake programme in Vietnamese New Year.

• How to make “Banh Tet”? Now let’s join and you will have the feeling like a family member to get together to prepare and reunite for this special date.

• “Banh Tet” is a Vietnamese savoury but sometimes sweetened cake made primarily from glutinous rice, which is rolled in a banana leaf into a thick, log-like cylindrical shape, with a mung bean or mung bean and pork filling, then boiled. After cooking, the banana leaf is removed and the cake is sliced into wheel-shaped servings.

• Wow, let’s time for enjoying “Banh Tet” - cylindrical glutinous rice cake. You have a Banh Tet present from us.

• We are sure that you will have an enjoyable and memorable experience date when you will be engaged in traditional activities on Lunar New Year at Southwest region.

• The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Let's go to the local people's house for that (in the seasonable fruits garden).

• The next we travel to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

DAY 2: CAN THO - CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET - SAI GON

• After breakfast, around 7:15 am, we board a boat and travel for about 40 minutes to get to our first spectacular landscape ---- Cai Rang floating market…

• This is the largest of its type in the whole Mekong delta. During this visit, you'll have a chance to board a merchant boat that sells pineapples which come from Can Tho City.

• After that, we continue on our riverine route for 5-7 minutes and then on foot for about 5 minutes to reach a noodle and rice paper factories.

• The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Let's go back to Can Tho for that.

• We end our sightseeing trip at downtown Can Tho.  On the way back to Ho Chi Minh by bus/private car, we'll have a stop at an interesting point to rest and also have photographs.

• The stop will be brief, ensuring that we come back to SG before 7 PM, finishing Mekong Delta Tour 2 Days 1 Night

For Vietnamese lunar new year, the floating market is not running. We will change the floating market to other activities below:

• After breakfast, we will visit My Khanh tourism village (8 hectares) - you will feel the fresh air in Mekong delta, enjoy more than 20 fruit types and visit the ancient house with over 100 years.
• Visiting traditional handicraft villages (making rice wine, rice paper, and enjoy hot sticky rice wine).
• Let’s try to play traditional games as alligator fishing, pig race, dog race and monkey performance at 12.00  and 14.00 everyday...
• This time you will enjoy cuisine culture in the Mekong applied from 14 Feb 2018 to 19 Feb 2018. Here you have the chance to enjoy foods like pancakes, fried fish, steamed shrimp with coconut water, grilled voles…
• If you would like to visit fruit gardens, please sign up before trip starts (Fee your own). Star apple garden fee is 2usd per person. Guava garden fee is 1usd per person.
• Let’s time for visiting Truc Lam meditation.

• We end our sightseeing trip at downtown Can Tho.  On the way back to Ho Chi Minh by bus/private car, we'll have a stop at an interesting point to rest and also have photographs.
